It’s about a 10 year life expectancy difference between a West side community and an East side community. And for a long time Intermountain thought the key to solving this was to create access to healthcare. Right? Financial assistance, adding clinics in those areas etc. That isn't the key. It's got to be deeper. Looking at the conditions in which people are living, the safety that they're experiencing and their opportunity for education.
