SubscribeHow do you test your outsourced security company? They don't like it but you must do unannounced tests of your network to see if they detect it and respond. Because most security contracts say if you’re doing a test or ethical hack against the organization, you must give us 24 hours notice. That's the most galactically stupidest thing on the planet. That's like saying, if you're going to rob my house, you must tell me you're going to. I mean it's illogical.

Overall, the industry is getting much better with data quality. We were doing this work in the wild west days of meaningful use back in the early 2010s. And data quality was really questionable. But EHRs in general have become a little bit more user-friendly and end users are becoming much better about not treating the EHR like a giant post-it note. So it’s much more reliable. But it's still a journey.
