SubscribeWe know that consumers place a high preference and a high degree of trust when they're dealing face to face with medical teams. And we believe we are seeing the same level of confidence and trust in telehealth, whether over the phone or visually. If they’re dealing with a qualified physician, satisfaction scores tend to trend very high.

We're finding that people who feel vulnerable or disadvantaged by the healthcare system wait longer to get care. So they're sicker when they come in. They're also more fearful and have language and cultural barriers. And as the pandemic has played out, we've had to shift and be responsive to that.

I'm a big fan of small data instead of big data, because the smaller the data the easier it is to actually interpret what's going on. At Wellpepper we had patient care plans that we had defined. And when the data came back from those care plans we knew what the patient was doing and what we had asked them to do. It made it so much easier to apply machine learning to see if, for example, somebody is at risk of dropping off their care plan. So I’d like to see less of “here's all of our data” and more focused and perhaps even more thought about data.
