SubscribeThe digitization of healthcare has actually added complexity to the physician's day. The primary element of healthcare should be the visit between patient and doctor, whether it’s online, a call or whether they come in. With the advent of EMRs, we now have a third element in the room. A computer that actually interrupts, that relationship because the doctor's sitting there typing on a computer instead of looking at that person.

It’s amazing how much waste there is in healthcare. And the waste is broken down into different categories. JAMA released a study showing that 20 to 25% of the overall waste is administrative. So if you solve the administrative issues that exist in healthcare, the claims, the rejections, the number of times you have to submit the work, the number of people you have to do the work, et cetera, you’re going to move the needle forward.

I can train somebody to surf LinkedIn or Facebook or Twitter, gather some basic reconnaissance, have some basic template emails already built out and educate that person to create a very compelling email. And I just need to be right a couple of times. And then I'm into your health system.
