Digital pathology is being adopted worldwide and there are lots of cases of large regional networks now looking at how they can improve their productivity and enhance the delivery of their services just by being able to leverage digital data and communicate effectively digitally.
We're looking for things that stitch IT together. Digital enablement. How do we do that in the ambulatory and the acute space rather than being beholden to the Cerner's, Epics and Allscripts of the world? Because that’s our biggest spend, right? I'd be hard pressed to know any CIO who doesn't spend eight plus figures on their EHR provider.
