At the University of Kansas we're trying to figure out how do you not only use the data more effectively, but how do you gain efficiency out of it? We're applying a lot of different strategies, whether it's automation or aligning our teams differently. We're also doing more of the agile methodology within our Epic environment as well.

This whole malware thing in healthcare is really getting people to think about endpoint protection. We have to do it. But in a way that doesn't break everything else. We have to be able to operationally manage it. And we need something that's not going to completely crush the environment.

I continue to be concerned about IT direct support and engagement with our clinical users. That is very difficult in the remote world. I think that IT organizations need to find ways to accommodate that and structure it. And not assume that it can all be done remotely.
