The executive order to remove regulatory barriers is aimed at economic recovery, right? Telehealth is one of the regulatory barriers that could be removed. It's supposed to help providers to continue to have viable revenue streams as the country moves through the pandemic.
We are still in the middle of this pandemic and CMS and ONC, and the finalization of those rules did give some leeway. November 2nd is going to be the enforcement deadline for these information blocking requirements. Everyone is going to be required to comply.
