Health at scale this is from Bloomberg. Walmart will offer employees access to the technology company health at scale service. That includes provider recommendations based on outcomes. Ratings and other metrics the retailer announced on Monday. Interesting move. What does this mean for consumerization of healthcare? Let's go on.

Customizing services and treatments to individual needs. Is the next frontier in health care and is a major part of Walmart's commitment. To helping associates and their family members find great doctors. Lisa Woods Walmart vice-president of us benefits. Said in a news release, we are excited to launch this collaboration with health at scale and are eager to see the impact of another innovative benefit like this.

And what it will have on our associates healthcare experience and outcomes. Health at scale software covers 25 different specialties. In addition to 34 procedures and imaging services.

The company uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to match patients, to providers, treatments, and other interventions. Finding the right provider is one of the most important health decisions a patient makes. It's also one of the hardest health at scale CEO, Z Shaun. I said said in a news release, in addition to offering the health benefits to its own employees,

walmart has increasingly diversified into the care delivery space. The retailer has opened primary care centers, acquired telemedicine companies. And partnered with startups to offer self-insured employers access. To its offerings. That's the extent of the story. Gosh. Every now and then I read a story and I think.

I really wished there was more in this story. What's my, so what on this consumer driven healthcare requires transparency. And this is an interesting move for transparency. So, , if we are going to get to this consumer driven consumer led consumer focused healthcare. This is one of those moves that is not only going to be within the employer market, but also across all of healthcare. And we're going to see.

And be able to determine, , what provider we choose based on outcomes, ratings, and other metrics. This is an important move from a transparency standpoint. The other thing I think is interesting from this. I don't think Walmart's going to take this out to the general public. Anytime soon, but they are the largest employer, I think, in the United States, if I'm not mistaken, but if not, they're one of the largest employers in the United States.

And having this level of service for their employees. Is something to consider in terms of a trend for large employers.

As an employee, I would think I would want my large employer to offer me this kind of benefit. This is a very good benefit.

To understand who I'm going to see for a procedure is important information for me and my family. And that really communicates an awful lot to me as an employee. From my employer, that they care about me and they're offering me everything they can to keep me healthy. , in the longterm. So again, I like this from a transparency perspective. I like it.

From an employer benefit perspective. I'd like to see it become a trend, to be honest with you. We'll see where it goes. That's all for today.
