CommonSpirit Health creates value-based care platform
Summary
CommonSpirit Health launches Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) focusing on improving access to equitable care, enhancing quality, outcomes, and reducing care costs. The platform offers services such as care coordination, network management, data handling, and analytics, supporting providers and networks in achieving value-based care. PHSO aims to serve diverse payers and improve health outcomes through affordable, coordinated high-quality care. Currently, half of CommonSpirit's value-based agreement participants don't work for CommonSpirit. It has also saved Medicare over $474 million in the last five years through proactive outreach and attending to medical, behavioral, and social needs.
