Amazon CEO, Andy Jassy, acquired primary care chain One Medical for $3.49 billion, aiming to transform healthcare experience with a model offering in-office services, 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and preventative and mental healthcare programs. Compared to other health clinics, One Medical serves 815,000 members and has 200 physical locations in U.S. The health data security is a concern to be closely monitored by the Federal Trade Commission.
