TriHealth Expands with Clinton Memorial Hospital Acquisition

Clinton Memorial Hospital (CMH), a 140‑bed facility in Wilmington, Ohio, has officially agreed to join the TriHealth system as its sixth acute care hospital. The Cincinnati-based nonprofit signed the acquisition agreement in June, aiming to preserve CMH’s legacy while bolstering local access to care—particularly in women’s health, cancer, cardiovascular, neurosciences and stroke services—without requiring residents to travel. TriHealth President and CEO Mark Clement highlighted that the integration will deepen collaboration with local physicians and support value-based population health models, keeping essential services within a 20–30 minute radius of patients. The transition—including staff integration and regulatory approvals—is expected to wrap up in approximately 90 days, with CMH poised for a third‑quarter completion.
