Why this foundation

Why Alex's Lemonade Stand?

It started with one stand

In 2000, 4-year-old Alexandra "Alex" Scott held a lemonade stand to help find a cure for all children with cancer—a mission that grew into a national movement.

Research at scale

The foundation has funded a huge body of childhood cancer research—over $250 million raised since that first stand.

Community coming together in support of pediatric cancer research

Natural for health IT

We work every day to improve care through technology. Supporting pediatric cancer research extends that mission in a deeply human way.
