To facilitate this, the health system has implemented a vendor-neutral archive and a universal viewer that consolidate imaging from various specialties into a single platform, allowing seamless access through electronic health records. Additionally, patients can now view their imaging results via the Epic MyChart portal, promoting transparency and encouraging active engagement in their healthcare.
