Strategy execution fails often due to lack of real strategies; more goals than strategic choices. Real strategies have clear execution plans, unlike goals. Successful strategy execution has clear strategic direction, communicates the logic behind choices, involves top-down and bottom-up processes, letting selection happen organically. Embracing change is fundamental in execution as it often involves changing habitual conduct.
