Healthcare tech firm Meditech collaborates with Google Cloud, enhancing software with generative AI, largely aimed at relieving clinicians' burnout. Meditech uses Google's large language models (LLMs) to improve search, summarization, and data harmonization within its EHR, allowing quicker access to comprehensive patient data for decisive treatments. The company also experiments with Google's Med-PaLM 2 to enhance EHR’s capabilities. Another focus area involves auto-generation of clinical documents such as discharge summaries using Google’s LLMs, thereby lessening the time-consuming documentation process for clinicians.
