The dismantling of the Critical Infrastructure Partnership Advisory Council (CIPAC) has particularly hindered sensitive discussions on cybersecurity, leading companies to withhold threat information and resulting in project delays in the telecommunications sector. Federal agencies are now seeking a replacement for CIPAC to restore these essential communications and coordination efforts.
