Federal agencies open online portal for reporting anticompetitive practices in healthcare

The Federal Trade Commission, Department of Justice, and Department of Health and Human Services have introduced HealthyCompetition.gov, a new platform for the public to report anticompetitive behavior in the healthcare sector. This initiative, launched following a White House directive to address corporate malpractices in healthcare, allows anonymous or identified submissions that could trigger investigations into monopolistic practices that undermine fair healthcare access and employee wages. This interagency collaboration aims to gather actionable insights to combat illegal practices in the industry, supported by existing antitrust laws.
