Cincinnati Children’s and GE HealthCare Launch Groundbreaking Pediatric Imaging Hub

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and GE HealthCare are launching the first pediatric Care Innovation Hub in the U.S. to advance pediatric imaging technologies. This collaboration aims to enhance clinical and technical research across MRI, ultrasound, molecular imaging, and CT by combining Cincinnati Children’s expertise in pediatric care with GE HealthCare's technology leadership. Under this initiative, specialized imaging technologies tailored for children's needs will be developed, improving practices beyond the hospital. Key projects will include high-density MRI coil arrays for better comfort and image quality and addressing clinical challenges in ultrasound through collaboration between radiology and cardiology departments.
