CHAI Launches Initiative to Certify AI Labs for Healthcare Transparency

This initiative, supported by major health systems like Mayo Clinic and tech companies such as Amazon and Google, will introduce CHAI Model Cards to enhance transparency regarding AI tools. The framework will require disclosures about potential conflicts of interest and will adhere to established quality standards, providing essential information about AI algorithms. CHAI aims to involve various healthcare stakeholders in refining this process to ensure a cohesive approach to the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
