Amazon is working on its own ChatGPT competitor. Meet project Olympus

Amazon is reportedly investing in developing a large language model (LLM), codenamed 'Olympus', potentially as a competitor to OpenAI's ChatGPT. The model is speculated to power features in Amazon's online store, Alexa devices, and AWS, and may be offered to corporate customers. Likely to be announced at AWS re:Invent 2023, the new LLM will supersede Titan, AWS’s current LLM offering. Olympus is anticipated to have two trillion parameters, doubling the capacity of OpenAI's GPT-4.
