AI System Surpasses Radiologists in Detecting Pancreatic Cancer on CT Scans

A recent study found that an AI system could outperform radiologists in detecting pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) on routine CT scans, achieving an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) of 0.92 compared to 0.88 for radiologists.
