Marc Perkins-Carillo

As the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center, Marc Perkins-Carillo leads the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of electronic health records (EHR) and clinical informatics systems to enhance patient care, safety, and outcomes. With over 10 years of experience in informatics, quality improvement, and patient safety, Marc has a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing complex projects.

His mission is to leverage data, technology, and best practices to improve the quality of care and the experience of patients and staff at Moffitt Cancer Center, a nationally recognized leader in cancer research and treatment. Marc is passionate about advancing the field of informatics and developing the next generation of nurse leaders and informaticists. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on informatics from Walden University and is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in leadership. Additionally, he is a board-certified nurse executive (NE-BC), a lean six sigma green belt (LSSGB), and a healthcare accreditation certified professional (HACP).
