Juan Vado has an impressive background working in leading health systems. Throughout his career, he has taken on various transformational initiatives, including spearheading IT space planning, design, and installation of state-of-the-art technology infrastructure for millions of square feet of new and acquired facilities. Juan has also excelled in integrating technology and people following business acquisitions, shaping and leading IT governance practices for large institutions, and innovating new systems and solutions that solve problems and improve patient care. As a highly experienced PMP, he has built a complete enterprise PMO from the ground up and managed projects and programs.
Currently serving as the IT Site Director for a large academic hospital, Juan is responsible for managing IT needs for new facilities, administering the technology that keeps existing operations flowing smoothly, and deploying digital technologies that enhance patient care. In this role, he engages and plans with the CEO, VPs, and key business and clinical stakeholders to develop appropriate application needs, capacity plans, and technology investment strategies.
During his eight-year tenure with NYU Langone Medical Center, Juan oversaw a complex and broad portfolio of strategic and high-impact projects and initiatives. His accomplishments culminated in a significant career milestone as the Associate Director of the Enterprise PMO. Notably, he played a crucial role in the opening of a new digital hospital and scientific research building, equipped with the most advanced technologies available.
