In 2016, Craig was recruited as the first Director of Innovation for BayCare, a $4B non-for-profit health system serving the greater Tampa Bay community with 14 hospitals. His focus as the Director is to identify and pursue to opportunities to integrate unique technology-enabled solutions to better serve BayCare’s customers and physicians. Since joining BayCare, Craig has launched projects centered on IBM Watson to leverage artificial intelligence and natural language processing technology to help patients fighting cancer and other chronic conditions, built a partnership with Uber to help BayCare’s disadvantaged patients get to their critical doctor’s appointments, won a $300K grant to fund the Uber project, and helped to design the technology to serve the Wellness Center of the future.
