Russ is currently leading technology integration with domestic and international strategic partners of Advocate Health, supporting joint ventures, acquisitions, and community partners. He is leading a massive Epic Connect rollout for 350+ affiliated physician practices in IL over the next two years, the technology strategy for the Chicago Southside Health Care Transformation, Milwaukee Behavioral Micro-Hospital, and many other initiatives. Russ is clinical operations leader for Advocate Health with the Chicago Cubs and Bears, leading projects such as the mass COVID vaccination site at Wrigely Field and fan support for the Chicago Bears training camp, among other cool projects. Previously, Russ was the lead executive for transforming Advocate Aurora Health enterprise to a single patient record on Epic in WI and IL. Accountable for technical, clinical and revenue cycle operations readiness for hospital, ambulatory, integrated lab (Beaker), and post-acute (home health and hospice) implementation of Epic. He earned his master of science in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University and a bachelor of science in Nursing and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
