Pamela McNutt

I am passionate about the appropriate and effective use of Health Care IT to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of care. I serve on policy advisory committees for the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and the American Hospital Association helping to shape national HIT policy. Another key objective is to educate peers and help develop up and coming HIT professionals. To that end, I have served on numerous local, state and national boards and committees. I am also a frequent speaker or commentator on the topic of HIT. I was awarded the CHIME/HIMSS John Gall CIO of the Year award in 2002. In 2011, I was named one of Modern Healthcare's Top 25 Women in Healthcare and Becker's Hospital Review magazine “56 Women Hospital & Health care Leaders to Know”.
