Matt MacVey

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare information technology, I am a visionary and experienced executive leader who designs, proposes, delivers, and manages innovative and effective solutions for Children's National Hospital, one of the nation's top pediatric hospitals. As the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, I oversee the strategic planning, project leadership, change management, workforce alignment, and IT operations of the hospital's information systems. My mission is to leverage my credentials as a Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) and my expertise in electronic health records (EHR), consulting, and strategy to enhance the quality, safety, and efficiency of patient care and clinical outcomes. I am adept at connecting work at all levels to desired strategic outcomes and practical deliverables, as well as creating and managing governance structures and stakeholder relationships. I have also led and supported several restructuring and improvement projects, contract and service level management, and healthcare IT sales and contracting initiatives.
