Chris Akeroyd

As Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer at Children’s Health, I oversee the information services group and champion the hospital system’s overall digital business enablement. My oversight encompasses Digital Strategy, Advanced Analytics, Innovation, Cybersecurity, and Healthcare Technology Management/Biomed. I believe that technology enables business strategy. My passion is to enable a safer and more efficient delivery of health care through strategic use of technology. My goal is to create enterprise technology platforms that grow and transform the business for physicians, caregivers, administration, patients, and families. I am also an active member of several CIO councils and regularly contribute to thought leadership discussions on the role of innovative technology shaping the future of business.
