Hey everyone, I'm Drex, and this is the Two Minute Drill, where we do at least three stories at least two times a week, all part of one great community, the 229 Cyber and Risk Community here at This Week Health. I try to make these clips mostly plain English and mostly non technical, so they're easy to share with everyone in the organization.

And ORDR is the exclusive sponsor of the Two Minute Drill. ORDR is healthcare's connected asset visibility and security company. ORDR is a great way to find and eliminate blind spots. Here's some stuff you might want to know about. It's been a very bad, terrible couple of weeks for the Google Chrome browser. Four zero days and lots of requests for emergency updates. And it's hard not to notice when more than two billion of us use the Google Chrome browser. I feel like we're in a bit of a mode where you should be checking daily for new updates as part of your regular security routine.

So first of all, go ahead and update your Chrome browser for me right now. And I'll keep you posted if I hear more. CSC 2. 0 has a great new report out. It's absolutely worth the read. CSC 2. 0 is an offshoot of the original Cyberspace Solarium Commission created in 2019. And the original CSC published their flagship report in 2020.

It was a broader, more general government and industry focused report. But CSC 2. 0, the new report, is called Healthcare Cybersecurity Needs a Checkup. So obviously it's focused on our industry exclusively. and the personal and national security implications of a cyber challenged healthcare sector. The report swings from Scripps Health's breach to change healthcare's cyber crisis to the challenges faced by our rural healthcare organizations.

The report also calls out the great work of the Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center, or HISAC, and the Health Sector Coordinating Council in helping bring together organizations across the sector to improve healthcare security posture. You can find the full report at CyberSolarium. org and we posted a story from CyberScoop covering the whole report at ThisWeekHealth.

com slash news. And lest you think the bad guys are only focused on U. S. healthcare, they're not. Major London hospitals have been taken down in the past few days after being hit by a cyber attack. Surgeries have been cancelled, as have blood transfusions and other procedures, with the attackers primarily focused on a third party pathology system that's connected and well integrated across all seven of the affected UK hospitals.

Thanks as always to our partner, ORDR, the exclusive sponsor of the Two Minute Drill. ORDR can help with security hygiene by identifying assets with vulnerabilities, missing security controls, or out of date software. That, and so much more. Check out thisweekhealth. com slash ORDR for more information.

That's it for today's Two Minute Drill. Thanks for listening. Stay a little paranoid. I'll see you around campus.
