Thanks for being with me today. Here's some stuff you might want to know about. On Tuesday, I told you about how cybercriminals are actually recruiting and paying people inside your organization in exchange for access to your networks. Well, there's a story today from the register. That reports on how a San Francisco cybersecurity company almost hired a deepfake North Korean job applicant twice in the last two months.

In the struggle to find good software developers who know their stuff, these deepfake applicants got through several rounds before somebody started asking questions about inconsistencies in the candidate's answers. Fascinating stuff. Your HR team should be aware. There's lots of reports on this stuff going on.

And it even came up as a topic in a city tour dinner discussion with CXs recently. So heads up the stories on the new site. And what sounds like much ado about nothing, OpenAI has announced they find no evidence of a breach in their system. All that comes after hackers recently offered to sell 20 million OpenAI credentials.

Credentials they apparently don't really have. A third party threat intel firm has reviewed the data and concluded that it was likely a collection of credentials obtained through other means. And the final story today, Apple's issued several security updates in iOS 18. 3. 1. It sounds serious, so make sure all your Apple devices are up to snuff.

Those stories and a whole lot more at one of healthcare's fastest growing news sites, ThisWeekHealth. com slash news. Today's two minute drill was brought to you by intraprise Health, a health catalyst company. Need to get all your leaders on the same page when prioritizing risk? With Blueprint, you'll be able to prioritize and visualize the data and build real accountability.
