Vikrant Arora is a credentialed security executive and a thought leader with over 15 years of global experience developing enterprise security & risk management programs, delivering security “business value” and communicating cyber risks to the C-level and BODs. Vikrant has enabled Government, Education and Healthcare sectors to become more resilient against cyber-attacks and shifted corporate culture accordingly.
In his current role as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), Vikrant is developing an enterprise security program with a focus on digital innovation, simplifying security infrastructure and achieving YoY benefits for the Hospital and its patients. Prior to joining HSS, Vikrant worked as a CISO & Risk Officer for NYC Health+Hospitals, the largest public health care system in the United States as well as Pfizer, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Dimension Data and Wipro in various security & risk management roles. Vikrant is also currently working as a volunteer for ISACA Journal Article Review team and Symantec Healthcare Advisory Board.
Vikrant has a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and holds multiple security certifications including CISSP & CISM. Vikrant was named Gartner “2012 Peer Connect Most Valued Professional", received “2014 Intel Cybersecurity Leadership and Innovation” award and selected as the 2016 “ISE® North America Security Executive of the Year”.
