Keith Duemling

With nearly 20 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity, Keith Duemling serves as the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Technology Protection at the Cleveland Clinic, one of the nation's leading hospitals and innovators in medical care. He holds several prestigious certifications in information security management and healthcare privacy and security, in addition to a master's degree in information sciences, with a focus on cybersecurity and information assurance, and a master’s degree in business administration.

In his current role, Keith leads the development and maintenance of enterprise-wide cybersecurity management systems, adhering to internationally recognized standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and HITRUST CSF. He collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organization to proactively manage risks, design secure architectures, and support caregivers in the shared mission of providing reliable and safe healthcare. Furthermore, Keith contributes to the advancement of cybersecurity in healthcare and the development of the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and leaders. His activities include co-authoring a handbook, serving as a board member and chair-elect of a professional association, and volunteering as the COO of a book series.
