As a board certified Nursing Informaticist with 20 years of experience in informatics, I have optimized nursing care delivery for improved patient outcomes by leveraging technology at the bedside. My expertise revolves around strategic and operational nursing leadership in the development, deployment, re-engineering, optimization, and integration of clinical information systems. With a goal of supporting clinicians and patient care, I have been recognized for providing the right technology to the right staff at the right time, allowing information to be reliable and relevant to the care situation. Currently, I am the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at symplr where I lead and develop clinical programs to integrate the healthcare workforce including clinical communication and collaboration, staffing and scheduling, HR & Talent Management.
